Love to Learn Policy
We care about the why
As I hope you can tell, I believe in both learning and teaching with genuine motivation. Our goal, above teaching students to code, is to show them that learning can be fun and something to look forward to. With that, I cannot make a student enjoy coding. We are working very hard to create an environment and curriculum to make computer science an engaging and rewarding adventure for them, but that doesn't mean it is for everyone. In the case a student loses interest, I take full responsibility that this may be attributed to my shortcomings as a tutor. However, this policy echoes our core values: learning is a gift and it should be treated with joy as such.
The Love to Learn Policy: "If, at any point, I feel the student is not enjoying themselves and is not attending our sessions because they want to, we will finish the current session, I will ask to have a polite discussion with the student and their family, and future sessions will be canceled. All payments of canceled sessions will be fully refunded. We are more than happy to return to working with the student at a future date if the interest returns."
